Unity Within Diversity.

The biology/ecology block. The sections are:

• What is life?
• The cell: unity within diversity.
• Diversity: the spice of life.
• Biodiversity.
• Reproduction.
• Ecology: relationships between species.
• The biology of populations.
• Adaptation and evolution.
• Evolution through natural selection.
• The evolution of clutch size in birds: a case study in natural selection.

I can't say that this was my favourite block, it had some interesting sections, though. The DVD activities were rather long and laborious, but essential to work through if you are to complete the TMA.

TMA

Four questions to do once again. This time only the first two apply to Block 4; the other two concern Block 5. The first Block 4 question was a calculation-type of question, based on the DVD activities studied. The second question was more essay-based, on natural selection.
